HURRICANE SEASON: GENERATION Xtc "Party Era" is
My second major project that I have put my entusiastic energy in to. It is a projection of my outlook/opinion of the world around me as of the present. Born in 1984 put me in the life census category labeled generation X. As the class that are the children of the "baby boomers" we have been xposed to many political, technological, and social changes. With those changes goods, drugs, and even people became tangible faster. A drug of choice during this era was cocaine which turned to crack. This was the era of jordan, cell phones, internet, cds etc. As life became faster so did new parents come about to be. These parents produced the new class as generation Y. As crack went away a new designer drug called extacy became prevelant. A drug that produces a heavy euphoria or Party type Groove in users. New sounds and new music tastes became diverse, also spreading your music became easier. Independant artists now have to find a balance between the gen x/y gap to appeal to a wide target market. The gap I found is that both classes LOVE TO PARTY. We are in a Party Era. This music collection was meant to appeal to both and designed to be timeless. I prove my theory in a total collaboration of songs. One goal is to help unify my city through association, then the world. Track 1 "the proof" was actually written in 2008 which has proven to be a timeless Introduction of my mission ..the next track drunknhere gets the party started universally because in my opinion the majority of people on earth get drunk. Then we transition into my favorite substance with a true mixtape mimmik called hydroperfume. Now that we rollcalled the drinkers/ smokers we go to a greek/college groove with a more universal piece of expreession with divine9clique. We move to whytheylikeme to describe myself and mirror my affiliations. It continues with a song actually for my mother that was inspired from a convo, she asked me why did I have to get a gun. Funny to me that I told her itgoesdown because of the rampant crime among my peers and that its a risk to even have fun
Sometimes. I figured esp the youth would enjoy that one. Then I flash back to a single from my first album called dogdatcat which everyone enjoys to do but now with a house vibe. For a more popular or world wide techno market. Also introducing a change of the abused substance to extacy. Moneytoroll is a parody describing personal use while explaining how a new generation parties. Well once your are jiggin, rollin, geeked up, twacked you tend to feel great and you show out. I just explain howidoit when i venture to sociallize. Then I take an intermission with dontmakesense as a break from my vocals and as another universal example of how every generation hustles. Then I feel that part two of my project begins with my album concept track partykindawild. It is a accurate self description of how I idealy party and the stlye of grooves im around. As the drugs/ substances kick in at any party a real Man will look for the biggest ass possible. It never fails everyone can relate to that even some women. A large butt In higher echelon/my opinion is a 40+ incher. Ha! I now express my non belief in stunting/bragging with ibroughtsomemoney, irony ft All Star/Starlito who mentored me thru this project. Then another flashback from my first album, shystintentions remixed with a house beat again to appeal to the users euphoria and explain a deep Inner urge I've had , side note: x pills were first used in psycology to help angry patients express their feelings/desires openly. As I slow down your heart rate to keep you safe I go into a pleasant groove that is my favorite type of party that involves intimacy with a woman. I personnly enjoy audio stimulation and enjoy being talked dirty to. So talkdirtytome was created. My overal reason for doing music is now described post sex like alot of intimate talks happen. My proceeds go to cure sickle cell anemia a deiese that affects many and is explained in a honest parody of called superheroofrap in which I have come to bring vocabulary, truth, and entusiasm back to the art of the music game and cure a desiese . The Meaning of life is that you are here for another person. So I have found purpose in my life and have inner peace. Then I exit with a familiar sound but detailed picture/story of how I think a situation occurs to generation y everyday with our youth. I generate my theory from gen x situations and substituted new variables / drugs to make the time relavant. Thus my project/ opinion is expressed musically as GENERATION Xtc "party era".
